As I understand it, the majority of the furry fandom consists of people who like fiction involving anthropomorphic animals, draw anhtrophomorphic animals, and cosplay as anhtropomorphic animals. Nothing that different than most geekdoms.I've seen 2 common reasons that furry haters hate on furries. They don't actually know what a furry is and assume they're all a bunch of child abusers or animal abusers, since they are too stubborn and lazy to look up what a furry is. They think furries are weird/stupid and don't know that they could just ignore furries and go on with their day ...What they often do with these is to go to furry conventions. You dont have to have a fursuit for that though (Some furries, as you likely would have heard, have sex with them, but they are called murrsuits). The furry community has also always been a big supporter of LGBTQ rights, the furry fandom is a very accepting community.
