If you operate a texas star on 75 meters, you gotta consider the 3rd harmonic on the 12MHz area which is not in the ham bands. Because the amp would have as much gain on 12MHz as it does on 75meters. 1. 2.The website says it will do 500w with a 20w input. That being said, people put them behind the Stryker 955 and they seem to take it ok. I would only give it about 40w like a Galaxy 99v. You should be able to give it a little more peak but it would be nice to keep the dead key low so it is only 1/4 of the peak.

It is experiencing high VSWR's on any antenna, but almost flat on a dummy load. As far as input drive on SSB something like 8-14 watts would be plenty. You didn't mention anything about problems with your amp in your post.Call for Availability. Locate the two standing capacitors (15pf and 33pf) near the relay and RF choke. Unsolder and remove the wire from the tops of the capacitors.
