Long story short, Safelite replaced our windshield with the same Pilkington glass you have. And yeah, it does look weird without the trim. I too never noticed there was no rubber trim there. It’s been perfect so far. 6 weeks and zero problems. This Pilkington glass seems to be a bit stronger than the Subaru glass as well.More specifically, a Pilkington with the HONDA logo (Pilkington makes two versions - one that meets their standards for the aftermarket and one that meets Honda's standards for the OE part).
