In Bill Drills at 7 yards there is virtually no difference in my split times or totals between the two pistols- both average 1.85-1.9 out of the holster, on demand.

Just my view but of the 5 HK's I own the VP9 is the best shooting HK by a good degree. And my P2000sk 40mm has 30,000 rounds thru it - yes I'm fond of that gun. The worst? My P30L. They use the same magazine to grip length is the same, VP has a lower bore axis, therefore "less tall" slide, P30 has a slightly shorter barrel but not significantly. So it’s a good pistol with a long service life and nice features. The USP was designed specifically for the 40 S&W so it’s a tank. As a 9mm it should last well into the Mad Max era. Although the VP9 is CC'able, I prefer the Vp9sk OR. If you want it for that I'd go Vp9sk. The P30 is a great choice, as well. With the added cost of a rds cut. I have a P30, but it's irons, only. P2000 is worthy of consideration, as well, as it's more compact than the P30.! Pros of the vp9 are the crisp trigger and the price. That said, I personally prefer the p30l. The trigger has a lot more take up but I'm used to it and am simply faster and more accurate with it vs my vp9. I prefer hammer fired pistols but admit, it's just a personal preference. Honestly, you won't go wrong either way!Whereas the p30sk is nearly identical in size with p2000sk. I've been ccw a Vp9sk and considering having a hammer ccw similar in size to the Uspc 40 I carried for a long time, but sold. I want a hammer hk just about the same size as the Vp9sk, in case the Vp9sk is out of action, and that is the P2000.
