Installed one myself on a 2014 Impreza, different headunit of course but same iDoing brand. Worked well for the most part, CarPlay sometimes is finicky as the colors and maps would randomly look more vibrant and then would require closing it out and reopening to fix. 1. Reply. The iDoing head unit is a lot more slimline and doesn't jut out in the back like the OEM headunit, so it apparently doesn't require the same mounting brackets that the OEM uses (I already checked for this while swapping the vents/HVAC components to the new one).
