MAKE SURE TO REMOVE THE SNAP RINGS 100, 150, 080. The assembly should almost fall apart once they're all removed, or a slight tap with a rubber mallet.Put a drip pan below front diff. 2. Loosen bolts on diff cover and let fluid drain. 3. Remove bolts and clean up the sealing surfaces on the diff. cover and the housing with the razor blade. Clean and dry surfaces. 4. Take the wheel off, remove the brake caliper, pop off the top ball joint, and then take the six bolts out of the CV to the out put shaft.The family wagon is in the garage for repairs. It may leak a little grease, but not what is in the pics. It looks more like a leak at the oil pan gasket. There may be a little leak around the CV output of the diff to it looks like. If it's fluid like and not grease like then I'd say the axle shaft seal is going bad. If it's more grease like then I'd say it's coming from the CV joint.
