The lights that aren't working are the stereo nobs and buttons, the HVAC system and the gears. The stereo display still works as does the light ...I disassembled the center console to diagnose it. There is a little transformer directly underneath (connecting to) the light strip. Mine works fine until the transformer gets warm at which point it stops outputting power (voltage).
