SK is the ultimate solo melee/non-pet class but your not likely to get to raid as one. Another idea I should throw out there is to do a duo instead. You ideally want a tank + whatever you want to raid as. 1.Pet classes are going to be hard to beat for soloing. The pet makes a huge difference. Non pet classes - shaman, Druid, sk, and ranger are all good overall. Shaman, Druid, and ranger are all reliant on kiting for success. Sk can spank and tank, however are a true monster for swarm kiting.
