I once saw that the Grant is the weapon with highest AR with the right stats, but 50 strength is a lot and you can't get the weapon until very late.The astora is good early in the game, its like a divine weapon, it means Deals more damage to undead enemies. At lower stats it Deals more damage than the Longsword, but fully upgraded would be outclassed by the longsword. ASS is a better early game cheese option than the Drake Sword, you can upgrade it fully before killing a single boss.I was hoping the new patch would fix the Astora straight sword that was accidentally nerfed in the previous patch but sadly it's still not fixed and it does less damage infused with raw or fire than a longsword.
