If you crank the car with the ac off the fan will not be on. atleast that is the way a camaro is. You probaly have a PO128, yea might be the temp sensor but like me (and many others) you probably just need to replace its thermostat. Has to do with differential between what it wants to see temp wise run time @ ambient + engine load ect and then reported temp, gets off by couple to many degrees it triggers failsafe ...Do you have a Cherolet or GMC vehicle with a blower motor that won't turn off even after removing the key?
