When this code is active the car has trouble shifting and won't go into 3rd or 5th gear. But, when I manage to get the car in sport mode and manually shift the car, it drives great.the two codes p07a3 and p07a5 indicate that there is an issue internal with a transmission friction element being stuck on. The focus' and fiesta's with the dual clutch automatic/cvt transmissions are notorious for having issues with shift delay/shuttering/etc etc. with the only recourse being to replace the transmission as it was a manufacture defect/recall.A P07A3 is usually caused by a malfunctioning clutch actuator or faulty clutch actuator fork.
